Beginning Hip-Hop Beats
A class devoted to teaching the fundamentals of Hip-Hop: the choreography, the attitude, the music, and the fun! You’ll learn basic dance steps like pas de bourees, box steps, ball changes and all with a Hip-Hop flavor, as well as, mainstream pop and lock and smooth alluring movements. Learning to use your hips and shaking your butt should be expected and also loud supportive cheers form your classmates. In order to perform for an audience, we must sound like one! This class is open to all levels, beginners who want to learn the basics and intermediate students who are looking for a change in style.

Inter/Adv Hip-Hop Beats
The next step! Now you know the basics of Hip-Hop and it’s time to show your skills. This is where you “work it!” Expect a challenging Hip-Hop class where intricate choreography is introduced. Kneepads are highly advised for this class. Expect this class to move at a quick pace, but definitely slow enough to ask lots of questions and to get the choreography. The goal here is to look like you are on a MTV music video dancing next to Janet Jackson or Usher. Learn how to clean up your movement, capture the audience with your facial expression, and make subtle movements look huge. Challenge yourself with this class by making yourself look good. This sassy style will teach you how to perform, not just dance!
