Dance Classes for All Ages!
Kirkland Dance Center offers on-going classes in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, and Irish Hardshoe for adults and teens, plus a full program for kids, from toddlers to early teens. Whether you wish to dance for fun, health & well-being, or to prepare for a career in dance, we have classes for you. 
We are conveniently located off of I-405 in Kirkland, Washington.

New Ballroom Class: Latin Dancing Technique
With Karl Riggs and Laura Thacker
Wednesdays, 8:00 - 9:00 pm
Open Level, Beginner through Advanced
This class is designed to improve self awareness in partnership dancing. Dances taught will include rumba, cha cha, salsa, samba, and mambo. Each class consists of warm up exercises; a short dance step amalgamation in one of the Latin dance styles; and description of good basic partnership dance shapes, posture, and movement. Our focus is creating confidence and ease in the individual dancer, thus making partnering skills easy and enjoyable. And, of course, we'll have a great time doing this!

Congratulations!
KDC dancers Didi Gong, Shelly Guo, Alison Hamley, Tara Maloney, Kimberly Penney, Chiaki Tanaka, Tiffany Teichrow, Colette Weber and Junko Yamada who competed and placed at the Rainbow Connection, Seattle Regional Dance & Talent Competion.
They recieved THREE awards:
1st PLACE: Lyrical Age 31-49
HIGH 2nd PLACE: Jazz Age 26-30
HIGH 2nd PLACE: Ballet Age 31-49
It was their first competition as a team and, for most of them, their first dance competition!
