Duke Ellington Sacred Music Concert, with "Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra" and vocalist "Dee Daniels" Seattle, WA (1992- present). Tim Hickey is the only tap dancer in the world to perform, "And David Danced" and "Praise God and Dance" annually in this very special concert written by Duke Ellington. He also holds the honor of having performed in this concert for over a decade, a first in the world of Tap Dance. The Concert is performed every year on Winter Solstace weekend, just before Christmas and it is produced by Earshot Jazz. Some of the members in this prestigious and all-star orchestra are; Michael Brockman, Clarence Acox, Don Lanphere, Bill Ramsay, Floyd Standifer, Jay Thomas, Bill Anthony, Thomas Marriott, Marc Seales, Woody Woodhouse, Dennis Haldane.
