Lindsay Bolender - Studio Assistant
Lindsay has been dancing on the Eastside for 25 years, since she was 18 months old! Starting with tap and ballet, then adding lyrical, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop at age 10, Lindsay has always had a passion for dancing. By the time she turned 18, she had attended countless dance conventions across the Northwest, where she got to try other styles of dance like capoeira, ballroom dance, African dance, folk, tumbling, and more! She also competed in jazz and lyrical dance groups for three years, and with a jazz solo that won many regional awards!
Lindsay began dancing at KDC seven years ago. She is grateful for the relaxing and supportive drop-in environment, which has allowed her to truly develop and enjoy her own personal style of dance. She still enjoys experimenting with new skills and genres, proving there's something for everyone at KDC! She started teaching youth classes in 2013 and enjoys fostering positive dance experiences, lifelong friendships, and confidence! You might also see her working around the studio as the Studio Assistant. Outside of dancing, Lindsay enjoys teaching preschool, spending time with friends, creating art, and going on all different sorts of outdoor adventures!
